DUBLIN INSTITUTE OF DESIGN

I design the DID college newsletter, with responsibility for editorial, brand voice and visual design. By interviewing the expert decision maker at DID, it was articulated that the student customers had certain traits in common: namely that they’re ambitious, focused and driven, with little in the way of time, most holding down fulltime jobs while studying.

Therefore the identity of the newsletter focuses on youthful energy, concise authenticity and bold, punchy minimalism. I named the newsletter The Dot, to help communicate these aspects, with a sense of simple familiarity.
